My Poetry and Commentary on Life
Designed with WordPress
a self-portrait
I rarely look
for very long
into mirrors
these days.
No one’s there
I know. I know
the cliche— I am
the mirror no more.
I see I’m old:
mom’s tired face;
dad’s nightly stumbles
down the hall.
I am not
what I see.
